StoreGrid's Adobe Flex based Rich Client

Overview

StoreGrid supports Adobe Flex based rich client agent for backing up Windows machines. It provides a much richer user interface compared to the web based user console. Also it doesn't require Apache web server to be installed in the client machines.

StoreGrid Flex based rich client is supported in Microsoft Windows operating systems only. It is supported in XP and above versions of Windows, in both desktop and server OSes and in both 32 and 64 bit machines. This rich client can be used to backup files, registry settings, browser settings, Emails etc. Currently Plugin based backups like MS SQL Server, Exchange Server and MySQL Server backups are not supported in this client.

Note:
v4.0 Flex Client is compatible only with v4.0 / v4.1 SP Edition Backup Server and it is not recommended to configure backups to v4.2 SP Edition Backup Server.
