User Activity Log

Overview

This report shows the activities of users who have signed into the web console of this server. This activity log is created for the user login, logout actions, MCAL management, server and customer management activity in the server. You can sort this log by activity time, user name, Entity, activity and status columns. This report is available only for admin level web console access.

How to get here in the Web Console?
  In the top menu, select: "Reports->User Activity Log"

User Activity Log

To enable or disable the User Activity Log, click on the Gear Icon on the top right hand corner of the page. The report has following details:

  • Activity Time - The time at which the activity was executed.

  • User Name - The webconsole login user name.

  • User IP - The local IP address of the machine where the user logged in from.

  • Entity - The Server/Customer/Client account on which the activity was performed.

  • Activity - The activity that was performed.

  • Description - Description of the activity.

  • Status - Whether the activity was completed successfully or not. Like for example, if a user tried to apply an MCAL license and if it could not be applied, the status would be reported as Failure.

Currently this report only captures the logs of the following activities - user login, logout, MCAL management, Server and Customer management.
