Replication Server Side Bandwidth Throttling

Overview

's Bandwidth Throttling feature enables the user to limit the maximum bandwidth used for replication of a backup. From this page you can configure Bandwidth Throttling for all replication jobs running from the backup servers that are replicating to this replication server.

How to get here in the Web Console?
 In the top menu, select: "Settings->Bandwidth Throttling Settings" .

Replication Server Side Bandwidth Throttling

This page lists the backup servers that are replicating to this replication server. You can configure Bandwidth Throttling specifically for each backup server.

  • Backup Server: Name of the backup server replicating to this replication server.

  • Use Replication server's global configuration:

    • If the option Yes is selected, then the bandwidth throttling for the backup server will be set as per the replication server's bandwidth throttling configuration.

    • If the option No is selected, then you can setup bandwidth throttling specific to the backup server by entering the following details:

      • Enable bandwidth throttling - Choose to enable or disable bandwidth throttling.

      • Throttle bandwidth always - Choose this option to enable bandwidth throttling throughout the day.

      • Throttle bandwidth from - Choose this option to enable bandwidth throttling only during the specified hours of the day.

      • Throttle each backup to maximum of - The rate to which bandwidth should be throttled.
