Overview

From this page, you can either delete a customer alone and retain clients with their data or delete a customer permanently from the backup server along with the clients and their backup data.

How to get here in the Web Console?
 In the top menu, select: "Server Admin->Reseller Management->List of Resellers". Click on the particular reseller. This will list the customers under this reseller. Click on the "Delete Customer" icon in the action column of the Customer row.

Delete Customer

If you click the option 'Delete Customer but retain clients and data under the customer', only the customer will be deleted and the clients and their data will be moved to 'Default Customer' in Backup Server.

If you click the option 'Delete customer, clients and data under the customer', then the customer and the clients with their backup data will be moved to SGTrash folder in the storage location and will not be permanently deleted. If the data is to be removed permanently, the user can manually delete it from the SGTrash folder.

NOTE: Default Customer cannot be deleted.

Please note that if any one of the customer's backup is active, then you cannot delete the customer. When a customer is not deleted, you can see the reason why the customer could not be deleted in Server Server Side Deleted Backup Reports present in the customer row.

Cancel button will take you to the 'List of Customers' page.
