Delete a Client

Overview

A client under a customer can be permanently deleted from this page.

How to get here in the Web Console?
 In the top menu, select: "Server Admin->Reseller Management->List of Resellers" and click on the reseller name of the particular reseller. This will list the customers under the reseller. Now click on the customer name of the particular customer. This will list all the clients under the customer. Now, click on the "Delete Client" icon in the action column of the client row.

Delete a Client

If you want to delete a client from a customer, then you can do that from this page. All the backup data from the client will be moved to SGTrash folder in the storage location and will not be permanently deleted. If the data is to be removed permanently, the user can manually delete it from the SGTrash folder.

If the Client still has the license key and you have enabled Auto Authorization for this customer, then the Client will be re-created under this customer if the Client tries a backup again. But if you have disabled Auto Authorization for this customer and if you want this Client to backup to the server again, you need to manually add the client again from the "Add Clients To customer" page.
