Change Client Side Settings
Overview
In this page, backup settings on the client such as Backup Window, Bandwidth Throttling, Automatic Software Update options can be changed from the backup server. Also Adding a Backup Schedule is also possible. These changes made in the backup server will be picked up by the client and the client will automatically apply them. The settings that are shown in this page may not be the same present in the client currently.
How to get here in the Web Console?
 Method 1: In the top menu, "Settings -> Disk Space & Client Management" and click on the "Change Client Side Settings" icon against the client.
Method 2: In the top menu, select: "Server Admin -> List of Resellers -> Reseller [Reseller Name] -> Customer [Customer Name]". Click on the "Change Client Side Settings" icon against the client.
Method 3: In the top menu, enter the client name in the search text box and click search icon. In the result page, click on the "Change Client Side Settings" icon against the client.

You can manage the following settings for the selected client.
Adding a new backup schedule - A new backup schedule for backing up files/folders can be added. While adding a new backup schedule, make sure a backup with the same name doesn't already exist in that client. Also ake sure that the OS dependent features such as VSS option, Automatic Directory Monitoring, NTFS backup options are applicable for the selected client. Backup Window Settings - You can enable, disable or edit existing Backup Window settings for the client in this section. Please note that the client's actual existing backup window settings may be different from what is currently shown in this page (client's settings are not propagted to the backup server). Configure Automatic Software Updates - You can enable, disable or edit the client's software update settings in this section. Make sure that the location that you specify here to store downloaded updates in the client machine actually exists in the client and is accessible to the backup application. Client Side Bandwidth Throttling - You can enable,disable or edit the client's bandwidth throttling option in this section. Since the clients actual bandwidth throttling setting is not sent to the backup server, the current status of these settings that you see in this page may not be what actually currently exists in the client.
More number of client settings manageability options from the backup server like Adding Plugin Based Backups, Restoring Backups on the Client from the Backup Server etc. will be supported in the next versions.

Limitations
- Plugin backups cannot be edited from the server.
