Run Retention Cleanup

Overview

Older versions of a file are automatically cleaned up from the "StoreGrid" server when the later versions of the file are backed up in the subsequent incremental backups. In addition to the retention schedule configured in the server, you can manually run the retention cleanup process using 'Run Retention Cleanup' feature to delete the older version of the files from the server.

How to get here in the "StoreGrid" Web Console?
In the top menu, select: "Server Admin -> Customer Management" and click on the "Customer Name" link in the left hand side tree. This will list the clients under this customer. Now click on the client name to view the list of backups for that client. Click on the "Run Retention Cleanup" icon in the action column of the Backup row.
