Customer Management in StoreGrid Server
How to get here in the StoreGrid Web Console?
In the top menu, select: "Server Admin-> Customer Management"
This UI page is where customer administration/management is done in the StoreGrid server. In the Customer Management page, the list of customers and the trial and default customers are listed in a tree format in the left hand side and in a table format in the right hand side. The customer tree will have list of clients under each customer node and the list of backup schedules configured under each client node.
Clicking on the Customers root node in the tree will display the List Of Customers in a table format on the right hand side.
Clicking on a Customer node in the tree will display the List Of Clients under the customer in a table format on the right hand side.
Clicking on a Client node in the tree will display the List Of Backup Schedules under the client in a table format on the right hand side.
Clicking on a Backup Schedule node in the tree will display the different Server Side Backup Reports (Backup Report, Restore Report and Deleted Reports) for the backup schedule.
The table columns and the actions for the list of customers table on the right hand side is described below:
Customer Name - This is the name of the customer you provided when the customer was added to the server.
MSPEUs Allotted - This is the total number of MSPEUs allotted to the customer.
MSPEUs Used - This is the total number of MSPEUs used by the customer.
Allotted Space - This is the total space allotted to the customer.
Used Space - The total disk space currently used by the customer.
Actions - The icons under this column are links to various features to enable you to administer and manage your customers.
Allow / Deny Auto Authorization - Clicking on this icon will toggle between enabling and disabling automatic authorization for this customer. The automatic authorization feature is described in more detail in the Create A Customer section.
Activate/Deactivate - Clicking on this icon will toggle between activating and deactivating a customer. If a customer is deactivated then no client from the customer can backup to the server.
Edit Customer - Clicking on this icon will take you to the Edit Customer page. You can edit all configurations of a customer from this page.
Add New Clients - Clicking on this icon will take you to the Add New Client page. You can add a client to the customer and configure it.
Proceed to Delete Customer - Clicking on this icon will take you to the Delete Customer Page.
Edit Replication - Clicking on this icon will take you to configure Customer Replication Scheduling. Note that you can configure different scheduling options and replication servers for different customers. By default all customers will be replicated to the globally configured, replication configuration from the Replication Management UI page.
Invoice Configuration - Clicking on this icon will take you to the Customer Invoice Configuration UI Page. From this page you can enable or disable invoicing for the customer.
Invoice Report - Clicking on this icon will take you to the Customer Invoice Report. From this page you can view the generated customer invoice reports.
Deleted Client/Backup Report - Clicking on this icon will take you to the "Deleted Backup Report", which will list in a table format the list of backup clients and the data that has been deleted by the server administrator.
Some of the features like Configuring Trial Clients Settings, Creating a new Customer, Local To Remote Server Migration, etc on the left bottom are described below.
Trial Client Settings - Clicking on this link will take you to the 'Configuration Settings For Trial Clients' page. You can change various configurations like backup space to be allotted for the Trial Clients, Trial Period, Delete Period etc from this page.
Add New Customer - Clicking on this icon will take you to the 'Add New Customer' UI page. You can add a new customer in the StoreGrid Server from this page.
Client Migration - Clicking on this icon will take you to the 'Client Migration' page. Using this feature you can migrate the trial clients to the paid Customer and also the clients from one Customer to another Customer.
Email configuration for Consolidated Customer Report - Clicking on this icon will take you to the ' Email Configuration for Consolidated Customer Report' page. Using this feature Email addresses to which the Consolidated Reports is sent for the different customer can be specified.
Local To Remote Server Migration - Clicking on this icon will take you to the 'Local To Remote Server Migration' page. Using this feature you can migrate the backup data from one server to another server and then having the clients do the subsequent backups (incremental) to the new server.
