Client Information Report

This report provides details of the clients backing up to the backup server.

How to get here in the StoreGrid Web Console?

In the top menu, select: "Server Admin -> Server Management -> Client Information Report (Icon)"

The Client Information Report has the following details:

OS Type - Type of operating system running in the client machine [ Windows/ Linux/ FreeBSD/ Mac ]
Client Name - Name of the client.
Customer Name - Name of the customer to which the client belongs to.
Version - Version of StoreGrid running in the client machine.
Build No. - The build number of StoreGrid running in the client machine.
Allotted Space - Total space allotted to the client in the backup server.
Used Space - Total space used by the client.
License Type - License type of the client [Desktop/Server OS license] with plugin details
Plugin Type - Plugin details - if used by the client [Basic/Advanced plugin]

This report will contain the details of a client only when the client is running 2.3.5 or a higher version.
If a client is added in the backup server manually or by using ‘Local to Remote Server Migration’ feature, then only the client name, customer name, version, license type and plugin type details will be available in the report. Other details will be available only when the client connects to the backup server and authenticates.
In the replication server, the client information is available only after the client’s backed up data is replicated to the replication server.
